At The Well Rooted Dog, I believe that everyone deserves access to high quality canine wellness support — regardless of disability, health condition, or personal circumstance. I are committed to making my services, my website, and my communications as accessible as possible for all clients.

My Website:

I have taken steps to ensure that my website meets recognised accessibility standards, including:

• Clear, readable fonts and sufficient colour contrast throughout

• Descriptive alt text on images

• A logical, easy to navigate page structure

• Pages that are compatible with screen readers and assistive technologies

• No content that flashes or strobes in a way that could trigger photosensitive conditions

I recognise that attending a training session or behaviour consultation can present additional challenges for some clients. I are committed to making reasonable adjustments wherever possible, including:
 

Physical accessibility

• Where sessions take place at my premises, please contact us in advance to discuss your access requirements and I will do our best to accommodate you

• Home visits and outdoor sessions are available and can be arranged as an alternative where attending our location presents a barrier
   

Communication:

• I am happy to communicate via email, telephone or written correspondence — whatever works best for you

• Session notes, plans and follow-up information can be provided in larger text or alternative formats on request

• I will always take the time to explain my methods clearly and without jargon, and will adapt my communication style to suit your needs
   

Neurodiversity & mental health:

• I understand that working with a dog who is struggling can be emotionally demanding, and that some clients may themselves be navigating anxiety, neurodivergence, or other conditions

• I offer a calm, non-judgemental environment in all our sessions and will always work at a pace that is comfortable for you as well as your dog

• If there is anything I can do to make your experience more comfortable, please simply let me know
   

Known Limitations:

I am a small independent company and while I strive to meet accessibility best practice, there may be limitations to what I can currently accommodate. I are committed to continuously improving and welcome feedback from any client who experiences a barrier to accessing my services.
